The people of Kogi state (Nigeria) should not allow governor Yahaya Bello’s trap to catch them. It was alleged that part of workers salaries and pensioners allowances were paid recently by governor Yahaya Bello according to Viewers Corner News correspondent who visited Lokoja (Kogi state, Nigeria). Now that governorship election is coming, he decided to pay workers and pensioners part of what he is owing them. Does this make governor Yahaya Bello a good leader? The answer is NO, it is a trap to win voters’ mind but he has already miscalculated so we (Viewers Corner News team) are appealing to voters in Kogi state (Nigeria) not to fall into governor Yahaya Bello’s trap by re-electing him to office. A good leader starting from when he was elected to lead the state should address the issues of workers salaries and pensioners allowances and not waiting until two months to another election before paying them. We (Viewers Corner News team) regard such act as deceit and a scam. If he truly has the people of Kogi state in his mind, he should have done what he is doing now long time ago. Based on this, Viewers Corner News team is calling on the good people of Kogi state (Nigeria) to have a second thought before casting their votes. On another note, Dr Musa Wada is the man, though he may not be so popular in Kogi state but he has a great profile and should be given a chance to lead the state because he would do better than governor Yahaya Bello. Again, the choice is all yours, if you re-elect governor Yahaya Bello to office then the next four years may not be an easy ride for the people of Kogi state (Nigeria). Elect Dr Musa Wada as your governor and enjoy the full benefits of democracy. Look beyond political party but the credibility of the candidate in question.
