GOVERNOR ABUBAKAR BELLO OF NIGER STATE DURING THE INAUGURATION OF THE NIGER STATE BRANCH OF NIGERIAN ASSOCIATION OF TECHNOLOGISTS IN ENGINEERING HELD IN MINNA (NIGERIA) MADE CERTAIN DECLARATIONS.

Governor Abubakar Bello of Niger state made declaration recently during the inauguration of Niger state branch of Nigerian Association of Technologists in Engineering held in Minna (Nigeria). He allegedly said that any Nigerian politician found guilty of corruption should be executed or face complete ban from politics. Honestly governor Abubakar Bello’s idea sound so nice but may not be proper to carry out execution against corrupt politicians, somehow such sentence is a very harsh one. A total ban from politics or a long jail term would be more appropriate. However for governor Abubakar Bello of Niger state to have made such honest declaration showed that he can be trusted, meaning that he may not have skeletons in his cupboard as a politician and if giving the opportunity to lead Nigeria, he may not loot the treasury of the country (Nigeria). If corruption in Nigeria can be reduced or eradicated completely, Nigeria as a great country would be very nice because corruption is the main reason Nigeria is not moving forward. If we calculate all the billions stolen by Nigerian politicians, it would be more than enough to put things right in the country (Nigeria). Look at some projects under PDP/ex-president Goodluck Jonathan’s led government which the contracts were allegedly awarded, it turned out that those corrupt Nigerian politicians cornered the funds for their personal use instead of utilizing the money for the purpose it was meant for, all these put together are reasons Nigeria is not moving forward. Hopefully now that majority of Nigerians have identify corruption as an obstacle to development, we (Viewers Corner News team) are appealing to them to kindly assist president Buhari’s administration in eradicating the disease (Corruption) so that the country (Nigeria) can move forward. President Buhari’s government can not do it alone, the support of every Nigerian is needed to end the problem of corruption in the country (Nigeria). Please join hands together to make it work effectively.
