Chancellor Friedrich Merz

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz should have learned from the history of the Second World War by staying neutral and out of Ukraine’s conflict with Russia.

The German Chancellor, Friedrich Merz, is following a path that is not so good for Germany and the European Union. Information has it that the German government, under the leadership of Chancellor Friedrich Merz, has joined other European Union member countries in authorizing Ukraine to use German-made long-range weapons to strike deep into Russia, which President Putin of Russia allegedly said that Germany has become Russia’s enemy for making such a dangerous move. Our point is that there is nothing good that can come out of countries engaging in fighting wars. It can only lead to the destruction of lives and properties. In such a situation, the innocent ones would suffer so much. Look at Ukraine; Mr. Zelensky is not helping matters. Why would he not calm down and seek a peaceful means to resolve the differences his country has with Russia? Right now, Ukraine is completely destroyed, and if other European countries join in the war, there are certainly going to be more casualties, which is not good. Hence, we appeal to the German government to tread carefully by seeking a peaceful means to settle the issue between Ukraine and Russia. European countries should not join the Ukraine war because it could escalate to a point where it cannot be controlled anymore, which would put the economy of Europe in a serious problem.
