Ford is pulling back more than 355,000 of its trucks in the U.S. because of a problem with the digital dashboard.
The recall affects 2025–2026 F-250, F-350, F-450, F-550 Super Duty models and the 2025 F-150. The issue is with the instrument panel display, which shows vital information like speed, fuel levels, and warning lights. In some cases, the display may not turn on when the engine starts, creating a serious safety risk.
Ford says the fix will be a free software update, either done at dealerships or remotely over the air.
This is another reminder of how modern trucks and cars rely heavily on software. When something as basic as the speedometer depends on code, glitches can quickly turn into safety concerns. For Ford, getting the fix out fast will be key to keeping customer confidence intact.
