FIFTEEN PEOPLE HAVE BEEN SENTENCED TO DEATH BY A SAUDI ARABIAN COURT FOR SPYING FOR IRAN.

Viewers Corner News correspondent learned that 15 people have been sentenced to death by a Saudi Arabian court (Riyadh criminal court) for spying for Iran. According to the information, these people were accused of establishing a spy ring in collaboration with Iranian intelligence and providing Iran with highly sensitive information on the Saudi military. They were sentenced to death on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 and were among the 32 people (30 Saudi Shi’ite Muslims, one Iranian and an Afghan) who were detained in 2013 on charges of spying for Iran. In January, Saudi Arabia executed a prominent Shiite cleric (Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr) along with 46 others and this increased tensions between Shiite power Iran and the Sunni-ruled kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
