Information reaching Viewers Corner News through our correspondent in Abuja (Nigeria) revealed that most times field workers of Power holding company in Nigeria are sent from their offices to disconnect light of those customers who are owing months of unpaid light bills, they would be attacked by the consumers. Most of those power holding customers our (Viewers Corner News) correspondent spoke with said that the power holding company of Nigeria is sending them on monthly basis huge amount of money as light bills which they never used. Most times they do not have light at all but at the end of every month, huge amount of money is sent to them as bills and if they delay the payment so as to find out why the bills are so high, the next thing is the field workers of power holding company will come with their equipment to disconnect the light which they say is very annoying and frustrating to them as customers. They further told our (Viewers Corner News) correspondent that they are doing so out of anger and they regard such attitude coming from power holding company of Nigeria as a scam. You do not give your customers light all the time but at the end of every month, you bring huge amount of money as bills for them to pay. Sometimes the light comes not in full which got most of their electrical appliance burnt. Based on this, we (Viewers Corner News team) would use this opportunity to plead with President Buhar’s government to kindly look into meter system for all households in Nigeria. Such method is nice if adopted. It would save cost for the people of Nigeria either ways which we (Viewers Corner News team) shall discuss in our future article.
