Nigeria’s Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa, has assured Nigerians that under his leadership, banditry and terrorism will cease to exist in the country. This is commendable.
It is encouraging to hear that General Christopher Musa has stated clearly that terrorism and banditry will be wiped out of Nigeria under his leadership. The Viewers Corner News team joins Nigerians at home and abroad in applauding General Christopher Musa for standing firm against the violent attacks being carried out by terrorists and bandits across the country, especially in the northern part of Nigeria, where they have found protection and loyalty from some individuals who unfortunately call themselves leaders.
We also use this opportunity to urge General Christopher Musa to go beyond confronting the foot soldiers of terrorism and banditry by also wiping out their sponsors. These sponsors remain the greatest enemies of the Nigerian people. Without addressing those who fund, protect, and encourage these criminal activities, lasting peace cannot be achieved.
We strongly believe that Nigeria can be safe again. Therefore, we call on General Christopher Musa to include all sponsors of attacks against innocent Nigerians in his decisive efforts to restore peace and security across the country.
Nigeria’s fight against terrorism and banditry requires courage, commitment, and uncompromising action. General Christopher Musa’s assurance gives Nigerians renewed hope that security can be restored. However, true victory will only come when both the perpetrators and their sponsors are decisively dealt with. Nigerians are watching, hopeful that this moment marks the beginning of lasting peace and safety for the nation.
