Chastinea Reeves, 17-year-old Indiana teen was recently sentenced to 45 years in prison by Judge Diane Boswell (Lake Superior Court judge) for fatally stabbing her mother 60 times. According to the information our correspondent gathered, in February 2017, Chastinea Reeves (15 years then) was arrested after her 34 year old mother (Jamie Garnett) was found dead in their Gary home. She (Chastinea Reeves) was charged with murder and in May 2019, she pleaded guilty. During the court hearing, Chastinea Reeves told the judge that she regretted murdering her mother and that she missed her.
