Boko haram

Boko Haram has reportedly beheaded the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Adamawa State chapter, in a shocking and heartbreaking act of brutality.

According to reports, the terrorist group initially demanded a ransom of about two million euros. Even after an alleged payment of fifty million naira was made, they still went ahead and killed the chairman, who was a Reverend. This is deeply tragic and completely unacceptable.

We join millions of Nigerians in calling on the international community to urgently come to the aid of Christians in Nigeria. Terrorist groups are committing widespread atrocities that many believe amount to genocide, and these violent acts must be stopped.

The situation in Nigeria has deteriorated severely. The country is no longer safe, especially for Christians living in the northern region. It was also recently reported that terrorists invaded a church and killed worshippers, a horrifying and unjustifiable act.

This must end. The world cannot remain silent while innocent lives are being taken.
