The evidence of how the late President Muhammadu Buhari and his family allegedly looted Nigeria’s treasury has already been made known to the public. When Buhari came to power, most Nigerians believed he would correct the failures and terrible leadership displayed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) during their 16 years in office. But hopes were shattered when Buhari abandoned what he was expected to fix and began doing the wrong things.
It has also been widely alleged that the late President Buhari’s wife looted Nigeria’s treasury severely, and her husband, despite being president could not stop her from doing so.
Now President Bola Tinubu is in power, coming from the same All Progressives Congress that has inflicted so much economic hardship on Nigerians. The truth is that Nigerians may not even realize the full extent of the damage caused by APC and President Bola Tinubu until he eventually leaves office.
Under APC leadership, things are simply not looking good. Insecurity, corruption, and reckless mismanagement of public funds have become the trademark of the All Progressives Congress and this is extremely dangerous for the nation.
We sincerely hope that one day, Nigerians will elect a leader who will direct the affairs of the country in a way that truly benefits the people. Nigeria deserves better leadership, better direction, and better governance than what APC has offered so far.
