An Iranian man identified as Amir Rahimpour who was convicted of spying for the CIA has been sentenced to death by Iran’s court. It was alleged that Amir Rahimpour received money from the CIA to share details of the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program with the American spy agency. Gholamhossein Esmaili, Iran’s Judiciary spokesman said that Rahimpour’s death sentence has been confirmed by the country’s National Supreme Court and he would be executed soon. Also the two other alleged spies for the CIA were sentenced to 15 years in prison (10 years for spying and five years for acting against national security).
