AMONG THE NON PERFORMING GOVERNORS IN THE SOUTH WITH LOTS OF SKELETONS IN THEIR CUPBOARDS ARE GOVERNOR DAVID UMAHI (EBONYI STATE) AND GOVERNOR BEN AYADE OF CROSS RIVER STATE (NIGERIA).

Governor David Umahi’s alleged claim of becoming a billionaire at his early age is false. This is an invitation for the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) of Nigeria to pay him a visit immediately he steps down from office as the governor of Ebonyi state (Nigeria). Governor David Umahi is a very corrupt man who made his money from politics based on our (Viewers Corner News team) findings, therefore saying that hard work made him a billionaire at his young age should be discarded. In Ebonyi state, governor David Umahi’s system of governance has led the people of his state into deeper economic hardship. He is among those governors in the south east part of the country (Nigeria) who has been against paying workers the minimum wage of 30,000 Naira per month and also against the local government autonomy so that he can control the finance of the local government in Ebonyi state (Nigeria) as he likes. The good thing is that governor David Umahi will not be in office forever which is another good aspect of a democratic system of government, so when he leaves office, whoever that takes over from him shall look into his past reckless spending of state’s money and bring it to the knowledge of the people of Ebonyi state. Ebonyi state under the leadership of governor David Umahi has become a huge debt owing state and based on our (Viewers Corner News team) findings, whereabout of the borrowed money including the allocations he has been receiving is not known as far as the people of Ebonyi state is concerned. Perhaps, these are what made governor David Umahi of Ebonyi state (Nigeria) a billionaire. Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River state (Nigeria) is another man who is against paying workers the minimum wage of 30,000 Naira in his state. He is also a very corrupt man while his counterparts in the northern part of Nigeria have started paying the minimum wage which he has refused to pay to workers in his state. He (governor Ben Ayade) is clamping down on journalists who exposed him of diverting 500 million Naira state micro finance bank money to his private pocket. Governor Ben Ayade connived with the police in his state to suppress the press which has always been the voice of the people. We (Viewers Corner News team) would also want to remind governor Ben Ayade of Cross River state (Nigeria) that no matter how hard he may try to suppress the press, he can never succeed. Democracy has come to stay in Nigeria and it is only a matter of time that his tenure as the governor of Cross River state (Nigeria) will end, then whoever that takes over from him shall visit his corrupt system of governance and the money he is accused of diverting to his private pocket shall be recovered which at the end may take him (governor Ben Ayade) to a prison facility for a long time.
