Our (Viewers Corner News team) extensive study carried out has shown that the African continent would have been the best in the world where poverty would never have been experienced because of the good things of life which God gave to each of the countries within the continent but the past leaders went into bad business deals with most advance nations of the world which led to exploitation. Wrong deals were made where most African leaders signed agreements that were never favourable to their countries and this has contributed a whole lot to why various African countries still remain very poor till today. Our take on this is that the African countries should reassess the agreements they made in the past with other business partners and bring them up to date. We say so because till today most raw materials coming from various African countries are still being processed in advance countries and later sent back to Africa. New agreements should be in place so that those raw materials extracted from those countries within the continent of Africa should be processed in the country where it was extracted. In so doing, the country within the continent would be creating more jobs for her citizens and also more revenue for the government of the country which would lead to growth. Now most unfinished products taken to advance countries to complete the process are not properly accounted for, therefore it would be better for those countries to renegotiate their deals with the advance countries because what they took away from the continent have made the continent very poor. They should build their processing plants in the continent rather than taking the raw materials to various countries to process. Time has come for the African leaders to end poverty in the continent of Africa and one of the reasons this attitude has been going on within the continent is because of the corrupt leaders in various African countries who do not care about the welfare of their citizens but only themselves and their families which is very bad. This also has contributed to why other countries of the world are looking down on people within the continent of Africa because they are of the opinion that with their money, they can get all the African leaders to do what they want which is not right. Again we are pleading with those African countries who are exporting these unfinished crude oil or raw materials to renegotiate the terms of agreement with those advance countries and ask them to build the processing plants within the continent of Africa. Honestly the continent of Africa has lost a whole lot to the advance world and should start thinking on how to put things right.
