ABOUT 3.37 MILLION VEHICLES HAVE BEEN RECALLED BY TOYOTA AUTOMAKER OVER EMISSIONS CONTROL UNITS AND AIR BAGS DEFECTS.

The automaker (Toyota) announced recently that it has recalled about 3.37 million cars worldwide due to defects involving emissions control units and air bags. According to the report, about 2.87 million cars which have emissions control units faults and 1.43  million cars involving air bag inflators which need repair have been recalled worldwide. This recall concerns these models; Prius, Auris compact hatchback and Corolla produced from 2006 to 2015 and this problem leads to fuel leaks but the good news is that no injury has been recorded due to the defects. The vehicles recalled according to the company due to emission control units are 713,000 in Europe, 35,000 in China, 1.55 million in Japan and 568,000 in other countries while about 482,000 were recalled from United States market over the air bag inflators.
