Viewers Corner News correspondent learned that bombs which exploded in al-Sinak (a busy market in central Baghdad) have claimed the lives of about 28 people and seriously injured many. According to the information, suicide bombers detonated explosive devices amid the crowd on Saturday, December 31, 2016, the Islamic State group has claimed responsibility for the attacks. Al-Sinak is a busy market for selling car accessories, food and clothes as well as agricultural seeds and machinery.
