The German authorities have decided to withdraw the German troops and reconnaissance aircraft from Turkey’s Incirlik air base following Turkish government’s refusal to let German lawmakers visit the troops. According to the information our correspondent gathered, Germany has about 270 troops with six Tornado reconnaissance aircraft and a refueling plane stationed at Incirlik near the Syrian border participating in the international coalition against the Islamic State group and they will be redeploy to Jordan. German parliament approves the country’s deployments abroad hence lawmakers are free to visit the troops when they want but Turkish government blocked the recent Incirlik visit request by the German law makers due to Germany’s decision to grant asylum to soldiers and other individuals that Turkey accuses of being involved in the country’s July 2016 failed coup. German Chancellor, Angela Merkel said in Berlin that the relocation of German troops and aircraft will put an end to the two country’s argument over the lawmakers visit to troops in Turkish land.
