It was reported that a 9 year old boy from Illinois suspected to have set fire at a mobile home which killed five people, including three children has been charged with five counts of first-degree murder, two counts of arson and one count of aggravated arson. The fire which was set at the Timberline Mobile Home Park in Goodfield by the boy killed Kathryn Murray (69 years), Jason Wall (34 years), Rose Alwood (2 years), Daemeon Wall (2 years) and Ariel Wall (1 year), while two others managed to escape. The suspect was accused of intentionally setting fire on the mobile home (that he knew people were inside when he set the fire). If convicted, the suspect will not face incarceration but would undergo mandatory therapy, psychological evaluation and counseling. About 30,467 children under the age of 10 have been arrested in the United States between 2013 and 2018 according to annual crime statistics compiled by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
