The tropical Cyclone Idai has struck eastern part of Zimbabwe, killing not less than 80 people and many are reported missing. The cyclone Idai hit Mozambique and Malawi last week. It affected over 1.5 million people in these three southern African countries according to reports. Hundreds of buildings including homes, schools and hospitals have been destroyed. Also roads were washed away, thereby rendering thousands of people stranded. Last week Thursday, 14 March, the cyclone Idai hit Mozambique killing hundreds of people and wounded many. It also affected Malawi, killing about 56 people.
