NISSAN ANNOUNCED THAT NEW X-TRAIL CAR ORIGINALLY PLANNED TO BE MANUFACTURED IN UNITED KINGDOM WILL NOW BE MADE IN JAPAN.

Viewers Corner News correspondent learned that Nissan has changed its original plan of building new X-Trail car in its Sunderland plant (United Kingdom), the new plan is to build the car in Japan. The auto maker blamed continued Brexit uncertainty as a factor for making the U-turn. In Sunderland, Nissan has been manufacturing cars since 1986 and about 7,000 people were employed in the plant. Some auto-makers including Toyota, Jaguar, Vauxhall and Land Rover have expressed concern over a no-deal Brexit because it may cause disruption to their supply chain.
