The worst mistake president Robert Mugabe made in the past was taken away the farm lands from Zimbabwe white farmers and allocating them to the black people. When this exercise began in Zimbabwe, Viewers Corner News joined the other peace loving organizations/nations of the world to condemn such act because we knew that it would create lots of problems for the country. We suggested then, that a land reform be carried out which would enable the white farmers to keep their lands for food production and that would have been very nice.
When the white farmers were in Zimbabwe, foods were available to everyone at moderate prices but things became worst when president Robert Mugabe drove them away and the black people he allocated the lands to could not make good use of the lands. Now the agricultural sector of Zimbabwean economy has collapsed, only the ruling party are the ones that can feed themselves properly. Things are very hard now in the country because there is no food to buy, even if there is, no money to buy it. Recently president Robert Mugabe blocked food aid from getting across to the opposition camp, right now in Zimbabwe people are carrying out protests continuously showing no more support for president Robert Mugabe and his government.

Another sad aspect is that he does not want to step down, he even said that he would contest the next election. At his age of 92 years, what has he to offer to the people of his country? Just nothing. Anyway, the Zimbabwean people should keep on praying and hoping that someday God Almighty would bring someone who would lead Zimbabwe for good.
