Anthony Weiner, the former lawmaker who was sentenced in September 2017 for sexting an underage girl has been released from jail after serving 15 months in prison. He was transferred to a halfway house in Brooklyn where he will stay under supervision for the rest of his sentence. Anthony Weiner was the former New York Congressman and he pleaded guilty for exchanging sexually explicit messages with a North Carolina minor (15 years).
In May 2017, the same day Weiner pleaded guilty, his ex wife (Huma Abedin) who was a former aide to Hillary Clinton filed for divorce.
